Hi everyone I am Dinesh and I have been working on Drupal since 3 years. I started my career with Drupal. The experience was amazing and still enjoying a lot. I was amazed that an individual could create a website in just few clicks. The most interesting part in Drupal was Blocks, Views and creating Custom module. The real taste of Drupal was felt was when i did freelance project, (Custom module for Forum). Apart from this, Drupal has large communities which is always working hard to solve issues and fixing errors (Whether it is drupal.org, Stackoverflow, Linkedin or any other site). If you have problem related to Drupal then just Google it. And tada...!! there is a solution. So this tells that Drupal enthusiasts are consistently working using Drupal. So if a new user has some issues and if he gets tons of results then his inner confidence gets boosted and he tries to do some more things.
The most important thing of Drupal is it is OPEN SOURCE.
The first meetup which I had attended of Drupal was at Blisstering Solutions organized by Rachit Gupta. Rachit and his team trained and solved doubts related to Drupal. My main motto to attend this meetup was to learn and explore about creating custom modules. After few year when I was working in IIT Bombay, Prof. Sunthar introduced me to the Drupal Mumbai community and later we discussed about the DrupalCamp Mumbai 2015 which was held at IIT Bombay. It was a huge success and I was part of the volunteering team. We had a very good response for DrupalCamp. It was an amazing experience as we had lot of students for this event and many were part of the volunteering team. I guided few of the students to make their engineering projects and let them know about Drupal job opportunities.
DrupalCon Asia is an opportunity for the people who are Drupal enthusiast. As it provides many opportunities as Employment opportunities, Collaboration opportunities, Get specific about your problems, Peer encouragement and Inspiration, Module recommendations and most important thing is to meet Mumbai Drupal community which has lot of happening things related to Drupal.
Above all this is been conducted in the most happening city Tumchi (Yours) Mumbai. The city which never sleeps. Where 11.98 million people work hard and party harder. People can extend their stay in Mumbai . As it has lot of things to experience and enjoy. One of the the thing which everyone wants to experience is the train ride. 30 million passengers and 2.8 million tons of freight daily, and earns about $5.18billion from passenger tickets, only. It is also called lifeline of Mumbai. The train is divided into three sections Central, Western and Harbour.
The next happening place which everyone would like to visit is the Marine drive which has recently completed 100 years. You may stride along the beautiful walkway, you may simply sit and keep on looking at the waves, the rocks, the tall buildings, the enthralling scenic beauty of the palm trees, the heavenly breeze and the amazing view of the horizon which seems totally mesmerizing when the sun sets!. There are other lot of places which on could visit in Mumbai.
